Once a record holding title for best selling game of all time, Grand Theft Auto 4 has finally made its way to the PlayStation Store.

Grand Theft Auto 4 was launched in April of 2008 and made its way to Microsoft’s online marketplace in 2009. Looks like Rockstar have finally struck a deal with Sony to get it onto the PlayStation Network.

There are two versions of the game available. There is the regular GTA4 game and the complete edition which includes the two DLC packages, The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and the Damned.

The regular Grand Theft Auto IV game will cost: $19.99/£19.99/€24.99 and will be 11 Gb in size.

Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition will cost $29.99/£27.99/€34.99 and there will be a 20% discount for PS+ members. The full size is approximately 16 Gb.

GTA IV Imma let you finish but Grand Theft Auto San Andreas was the best GTA of all time. OF ALL TIME!

In all seriousness, Kanye-isms aside, when are Rockstar and Sony going to team up an but San Andreas on the PlayStation Store – surely it’s the next logical move now that they’re putting PS2 ports up on there?

I agree, GTA San Andreas is my favourite GTA game ever. It’s baffling how San Andreas isn’t on the PS Store yet and the same with GTAIII and Vice City considering they are available on Android and iDevices.

Perhaps GTAV will be the GTA game we’ve all been wanting considering we’re going back to Los Santos. I liked that style of GTASA though, 90′s West Coast theme. Maybe thats just me.

At least in the UK, there aren’t many big PS2 games up yet, I imagine it will have to do with demand for Sony to see if it’s a feasible option to go through the task of getting a PS2 game up on the store. I for one would pick up San Andreas straight away for the PS3.

      Thanks for the comment!
